Pearls should be the last thing on and first thing off and are more vulnerable to chemicals found in cosmetics, hair spray, hair dye and perfume. Never expose to chlorine in swimming pools, hot tubs or showers. Cleaned with a soft cloth moistened with water and the little bit of Ivory soap.
