Pearls are more vulnerable to chemicals found in cosmetics, hair spray, hair dye and perfume. Never expose to chlorine in swimming pools, hot tubs or showers. Clean with a soft cloth moistened with water and a dab of Ivory soap. Sterling silver oxidizes naturally over time. Avoid submerging in water and keep clean with a polishing cloth.
